Best Bloody Mary...

We here at the SacTown Foodie Society are pretty damn particular about what we consider... an essential breakfast/brunch item..  Yes, we think it's food.  It's a liquid meal in our world.  We adore The Bloody Mary.  And if we order it in your restaurant... It better be good. 

The Tito's Bloody Mary at de Vere's Irish Pub... our favorite!

These days, a Bloody Mary is the one cocktail who is more known for its garnish than for the actual quality of the drink. But it's about balance people.  Fear the Bloody Mary fail... 

Uhhh... no. Fail.

We happen to like the Tito's Bloody Mary at de Vere's Irish Pub.  It has Tito's Handmade Vodka, Housemade Bloody Mary mix (so important... not that pre-made commercial crap), AMERICAN bacon (Don't be an American't!... and also don't get so political here), and house pickled veggies.  It's perfect man!

And have it with a side of Eggs Benedict (at de Vere's, we recommend the Irish Bacon Benedict... yum!). 

We know... we know... you think there is a better Bloody Mary at your own favorite foodie spot.  Take it down a notch will ya!  Let us know who serves a better "Bloody" and we'll go check it out and give our review.

Gotta try:

Irish Bacon Benedict... Grilled Cheddar-Scallion biscuits, poached eggs, chili hollandaise, and breakfast potatoes.

Bottomless Mimosas... The bottomless mimosas is a very popular choice here.  They have your choice of orange juice, cranberry juice, and even Crispin Cider... so clear your calendar and get ready to stay awhile.  Make sure to Uber or Lyft home!

Secret Sauce:

This place gets pretty packed on weekend mornings. Try to wake up a bit earlier and beat the crowd. Oh... and if you walk in and don't find a table, just order your meal at the bar. The bartenders are super friendly and happy to give you a menu and they make great recommendations.

Skip:

The salad... Do I really mean to explain this? I know... some of you want to eat healthy. There is probably a salad blog out there. Go and don't come back.

Cash Money:

It's quality food and drink... it's worth it. $$ or $$$ out of 5.

Overall:

Excellent local foodie spot!... A great Irish Pub that "checks all the boxes". Good drinks, good food, great Bloody Mary!
